This is the car that got us started. We worked on getting parts to set it up as a fun in the sun and autocross car. We even custom built a rollbar for it and got vintage racing seats and collected all sorts of “go fast” suspension and other bits for it.
In the middle of all of that, we acquired the 1980 FIAT X1/9, and work paused on the Spyder while we worked on making the X a “fix and flip.” As we dug into it, we realized the X needed a complete makeover, which ended up taking us a couple of years (we both still work day jobs).
