Up for sale is a nice driver condition BMW M3 Coupe. Some say this is the best of the M3s, since it has the 3.2l inline 6 making 334hp, an aggressive stance, and not all of the “nannies” found on modern BMWs.
This particular car is a good looking black on black coupe with newer wheels and tires. It has less than 47,000 miles. It is the SMG transmission, but those in the know recognize that it can be coverted to a manual six speed by adding a clutch and shifter, removing the hydraulics and solenoids that currently operate the transmission, and making some modifications to the bell housing. So you can either enjoy the paddle shifter the way it is now or turn it into a six speed manual.
This car does have a salvage title. Though we don’t have photos of the accident damage, our understanding is that it took a hit on one of the sides some years back. The damage has been repaired. The car drives straight and runs well. It currently has the airbag light lit, but this may simply be an old setting that was never reset after the accident.
It’s not perfect and not a show car, but it looks nice and would make a great driver car for an enthusiast. Because of the issues above, it is listed at $15,500 obo, which is less than half what it would cost if it were perfect with a clean title.
